Donnie Yen 甄子丹
The son of martial arts master Bow Sim Mark, Yen was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
From a young age, Yen was interested in martial arts of all kind, experimenting with various styles, from Taekwondo to Wushu. After dropping out of school, Yen decided to stick with Wushu, moved to Beijing to train further with the Beijing Wushu Team. When he wanted to return to the United States, he made a side trip to Hong Kong and it was there that he met Yuen Woo-ping, a famous Hong Kong fight choreographer.
Yen's first film role was at age 21 in 1984 in the film Xiao Tai Ji.
Yen gained his breakthrough role in 1992 as General Lan in Once Upon a Time in China II. His final fight against Wong Fei-Hung (Jet Li) remains one of the most celebrated fights in martial arts films to this day. This fight scene could be considered one of the very best in martial arts films.
Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan and Jet Li are known as the three greatest Chinese Kung Fu actors, and Donnie is accredited in the industry as the one who most encapsulates the essence of Bruce Li’s style.

Zhou Xun 周迅
Zhou Xun graduated from the Zhejiang Arts Institute (浙江省藝術學校).
She caught international attention through her roles in Lou Ye's Suzhou River in 2000 and Dai Sijie's film adaptation of the book of same name Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress in 2002.
In 2002, she starred in the television remake of Jinyong's wuxia novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes (射鵰英雄傳) as "Huang Rong" with actor Li Yapeng as her male lead. The series was one of the most watched in mainland China in 2003.
Zhou then successfully entered the Hong Kong film market in Peter Chan's musical film Perhaps Love in 2005. This role won her the "Best Actress" award in the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Zhou Xun has received the most awards in the Chinese language sector. She received the ‘Best Actress’ award in the 15th International Film Festival in Paris, as well as the ‘French Academy of Film Art’s Best New Star’, The Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award, the Hong Kong Film Award, the Golden Bauhinia Award and the Golden Horse Film Award in Taiwan , etc.
Aside from acting, she has also released solo albums in 2003 titled Summer (夏天) and in 2005 Come Across (偶遇), and sang for soundtracks for the motion picture Baober In Love, Xin Bian Guo Le Xi San Meng You Xian Jing, and Perhaps Love.

Chen Kun 陈坤
Chen Kun (陈坤) is a Chongqing-born Chinese actor and singer. One of his most known roles to the international audiences was in Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress (film).

Sun Li 孙俪
Without any professional training in acting, the 23-year-old Sun Li has grown into one of the most popular actresses in China in less than three years.
